DAY ONE
We meet at The Inn On The Harbor in Stonington, Maine.

DAY TWO
While enjoying breakfast we introduce some fundamental navigation concepts and begin charting our route through the Maine islands. Then, we take to the water and put our new skills into action as we navigate the island studded Merchants Row archipelago. At day's end, we make camp on one of the state's public islands and our guides will demonstrate their culinary skills while preparing a hearty dinner. Kayak camping does not have to mean "roughing it".

DAY THREE
We continue to explore the islands in the vicinity of Isle Au Haut. Trip participants will plan the route, estimate travel times, and plot progress as we go. With a few simple tools on the deck of the kayak, you will never have to ask, "Where are we?" The evening hours will find us on the granite rim of another spectacular island, dreaming of the places we'll go with our newfound skills.

DAY FOUR
We weave a path through the islands and back to our starting point in Stonington, reaching landfall by mid-afternoon.
